The new Aston Martin DBS was the car that new James Bond was proud to show off in his first coming on screen as the inimitable British secret agent 007.

The new Aston Martin DBS is well-known to be a replacement for the Vanquish – but you won’t find Aston Martin admitting to that.

The new Aston Martin DBS takes its direct inspiration from the DB9 launched in 2004 by using the same aluminium chassis and engine but it holds its weight light primarily due to carbonfire panels. This one also has more power under its wing and is far more aggressively priced.

It has flared arches and cooling ducts in the bonnet, besides couple of other attractions.

The 5.9-litre V12 in the DBS is tweaked to deliver an extra 60bhp for a total of 510bhp, allows a 191mph top speed – that is a very impressive speed you’d want to expect a car of this price – over £150k.

The DBS is a two-seater but very comfortable with supportive sports seats fitted as standard.

It doesn’t hold much space for storage though and you will probably have to travel light, especially when there are two to travel. The new Aston Martin DBS is however comprehensively equipped with best that money can buy. It literally comes with the works.
