Big in size but with engines to match – that would be your first impression if you were seeing the Mercedes GL-Class.
The size effect is balanced by the gargantuan 5.5.-litre V8, which gives it the pace and power.
It is admittedly not the easiest car to drive in teeming traffic but it is a well-controlled one with precise steering quality. There is also very little noise that can intrude the large, powerful GL cabin.
Wheel adjustments and easy seat adjuster options allow drivers the seating position they desire.
Beings spacious and large, the car also has plenty of head- and-legroom though there could have been provision for more boot space.
Equipment in the Mercedes GL is up to expectations with more than few things that would have been optional standard.
