Advantages: Smooth ride, comfortable, cheap compared to its competitors.
Disadvantages: Loud at higher speeds, cabin doesn’t look as good as the BMW.
Summary: A gritty but fun sports coupe that fits well into its class. Plenty of interior space and is certainly a marked improvement on its predecessor.
New NISSAN 370Z Review:
Picking up from where the 350Z left off, Nissan’s new offering, the 370Z is in-keeping with the Japanese carmaker’s tradition of producing sports cars with great handling and which are fun to drive. More refined than its predecessor, the 370Z packs a V6 3.7 litre engine which produces a sterling 326bhp. It is able to do 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph. But there’s much more to the 370Z than what is under the bonnet. The drive is exquisite, exhibiting the light steering and low-down driving position which a two-seater coupe should. It is able to compete with the higher end models like the BMW Z4 Roadster while demonstrating far better value for money – with the price and the generous amount of equipment you get as standard. It has good comfort levels and the interior is much more luxurious than the 350Z, though it is still disturbingly noisy at motorway speeds. The 370Z has a superb overall quality, though whether it can challenge at the higher end of the market is yet to be seen.
