New PROTON SAVVY Review:
The Proton Savvy is a bizarre-looking car with plenty of quirky appeal. It's also one of the cheapest new cars you can buy - and therefore makes a good option as a first car or a cheap runaround. It's not as refined as most rivals, but has a reasonably eager 1.2 engine that develops 75bhp and the Lotus-engineered handling feels fairly responsive. Equipment levels are good: a CD player, remote locking and parking sensor all come as standard from the base model and going up a grade adds air con, electric front windows and alloys. Getting the car through a finance option such as PCP will start from as little as around £100 per month, so it's well worth considering for that sort of money.
