SEAT's Ibiza range has consistently been the best seller of the Spanish maker's line-up, predominantly down to its great looks, handling and breadth of choice. There's a model to suit everyone: from the basic but enjoyable 1.2 petrol engine to the breathtaking 160bhp 1.9 turbodiesel in Cupra trim which is stunningly fast. The ride is firm on all models - it's geared towards the enthusiastic driver - but refinement is good once on the move (although the diesels do make themselves heard).
