New TOYOTA LANDCRUISER Review:
Never likely to be a speed-merchant, the Toyota Land Cruiser does get a rev up with the addition of the heavy-duty 3.0–litre turbodiesel and then there is the 4.0 litre V6 petrol engine for more power on the wheels but it can be a guzzler too.
The Land Cruiser does not take corners and big bumps well but take it off-road and it comes into its element, demonstrating why it is up there with the best.
It is a spacious 4x4 when you take in its interiors, with the three-door version ready to take in five adults plus their luggage and the five-door have third row of seats at the back that easily fits in a second lot of adults at the back.
The dash is well-laid and you can easily take-up fine driving position.
The vehicle does get a bit raucous when you try accelerating hard from standstill position. Equipment levels are a prime feature in a Land Cruiser, this one’s no different either. It comes packed with gizmos that really gets it going.
