Advantages: Great looks, strong image, good to drive

Disadvantages: Prices are expensive compared to the competition - especially the new Focus CC and Astra Twintop, although it's far classier

Summary: The VW Eos is a great coupe-cabriolet combining style with practicality: good to drive and refined.

24-October-2010 New VOLKSWAGEN EOS Deals(2.0 TDI CR Sport 2d DSG)
Excellent, very pleaed with the car and the service from both yourselved and the dealer.

02-September-2010 New VOLKSWAGEN EOS Deals(2.0 TSI Individual 2d DSG)
Dealer failed to supply all options requested although did discount cost after chasing them. Also had a chip on bonnet. Noticed after they gone. Called them an hour later but they refused to accept responsibility. They had just driven over 300 miles to deliver car and I had only driven car to take driver to rail station so no doubt at all in my mind whos fault it was. Cant blame them I suspose but I am not happy about it at all.
New VOLKSWAGEN EOS Review:
The Eos is a natural progression for VW following its past success with the Golf cabriolet range - although it's come back with a vengeance to reclaim some of the market that has been taken by the likes of the Renault Megane CC and Peugeot's open-top 307 which have both been on sale for some time.It may be somewhat belated in its arrival, but the Eos is certainly well worth the wait. It looks a more complete and sophisticated package in comparison to its French rivals - and certainly feels like it on the road, with impressive refinement alongside a powerful engine line-up. Performance is strong from all but the entry-level 1.6 (which is quite adequate); the 2.0-litre turbo is pacy, the 3.2 V6 is crazy and the 2.0-litre diesel offers plenty of grunt at the expense of a little more noise in the cabin. There is decent space for four, a reasonable boot when the roof's up and the sort of build quality that the Volkswagen group is renowned for. Your local dealer is unlikely to offer much discount off the car - so why not force all the VW dealers to compete to win your order by putting it to auction? AutoeBid users have been getting big discounts on UK cars through Volkswagen dealers and there are some stock vehicles around in case you can't wait for a factory order!

How do we get our New VOLKSWAGEN EOS deals?

Cheap new VOLKSWAGEN EOS cars for sale through AutoeBid

Reasons for being much cheaper than your local dealer:

  • We don't charge VOLKSWAGEN EOS suppliers a fee to sell through our service. Meaning they incur no direct costs in selling a vehicle through AutoeBid. As such, the standard costs of advertising, marketing and administrating the sale are taken out of the equation.
  • All VOLKSWAGEN EOS orders are live on our website so that suppliers can compete between one another to win your business by giving you the best quote. Their fierce competition for your business forces their price down, giving you the ultimate advantage of getting your price at your rates.
  • Suppliers are also able to sell vehicles nationally through AutoeBid, which potentially allows them to sell large numbers of cars through our website. As a mark of their appreciation, they are able to provide for much larger discounts if they are able to sell large volumes of vehicles.
  • Similarly through our Group Buying Scheme, we group together buyers in order to maximise our buying power.
  • Our extensive supply base allows us to approach the most competitive suppliers in the market on behalf of our buyers. We spend a lot of our time researching new suppliers and confirming their trading record and their ability to deliver.
  • By continuously keeping in contact with our extensive potential supplier base, and maintaining a database of suppliers who register with us, we regularly update our Reserve Prices. Click here to view more information on the different types of supplier who you can buy from through AutoeBid.
