New FIAT FIORINO Review:
The sister van to the Peugeot Bipper and Citroen Nemo, the Fiorino is a modern and light practical vehicle which looks almost identical to it’s relatives. Flawlessly suitable for towns and cities, this business van is strikingly sophisticated and built with an excellent cabin. Fiat offer an option of two engines, the 1.3 litre diesel and the 1.4 litre petrol, however, it is the former that is by far the more popular. Despite the rather meek 75bhp, the diesel appears nippy and is able to deliver 63mpg, making it an excellent choice for small businesses. The Fiorino’s main strength though is it’s miniature length – being under four metres long and having light steering – it can squeeze into particularly small spaces with ease. Sturdily constructed and well finished, the cabin interior is another impressive feature. Very comfortable and seemingly quiet, the Fiorino is a smart pick for relentless up and down journeys. It’s rear doors open wide, making the most of the 2.5 cubic metres of space available. The Fiorino’s loading space is 1.5 metres long, with access made much easier by an option of one or two side sliding doors. A five-seated Combi is also available, though the cargo area is slightly smaller, reduced to 270kg.
