New MITSUBISHI L200 Review:
The Mitsubishi L200 has been given a complete remodelling from its much highly acclaimed predecessor with a new priority on design and comfort. The new L200 is bold and stylish with a striking body and modish interior, though it retains all the practicality of the old model. It handles and performs more like a car with a much firmer ride and a new driving position. The Double Cab model in particular feels more comfortable and spacious in the back. The new Mitsubishi L200 comes with only one engine option, a 134bhp Euro IV compliant diesel engine. Even though road noise remains noticeable, it is much reduced, especially at motorway speeds. The cargo weight is one tonne and payload lengths range from 1325mm to 2220mm and all widths stand at 1130mm. these figures are not ground-breaking, although it does mean the new Mitsubishi L200 can easily fit into an orthodox parking space. A Euro NCAP four star rating is hugely impressive while ABS and electronic breaking reduce stopping distance. The Mitsubishi L200 delivers great value for money, being cheaper than its competitors, retaining low running costs and holding its value strongly.
