The panel on the left shows the complete record of a previous customer buying a vehicle through our service in the past.
The Bidding Information table shows the full RRP for this requirement, including options and the Target Price, which is Auto eBid's estimate of the likely price from previous experience. The Reserve Price is normally the same as the Target Price but customers can opt to vary this.
Finally at the bottom is the list of bids placed by suppliers, including notes on any variation from the original requirement. If there is some variation, the customer is free to choose bids which are not the lowest overall.
If the Reserve Price is not met, the customer is not obliged to purchase at all. In practice, we find that more often than not one of the lowest bids is still more attractive than any other price in the market.
