New BMW 6 SERIES Review:

The 6 series was designed to take on the increasingly familiar new BMW look, whilst justifying the purposeful stance with a suitably rewarding drive. Despite its size and weight, it almost defies physics such is the agility offered by the chassis - and you could be mistaken for thinking you were behind the wheel of a two-seater roadster. The seating in the rear is admittedly unsuitable for adults of reasonable proportions, but the luggage room is generous - and the drop top version offers excellent refinement with the roof up and a remarkable lack of scuttle shake on uneven surfaces. The main reason for lowering the roof must be to have a listen to the beautiful 4.4 V8 engine, which emits a very satisfying roar. Whilst it's by no means cheap, the 6 series does represent good value for money alongside its competitors - but the high acclaimed new Jaguar XK gives it a hard run for its money. Expect to save several thousand pounds brand new with AutoeBid's reverse auction.
