Advantages: Stylish, good engines and costs peanuts to run
Disadvantages: Not very refined as the speed increases
Summary: A great entry-level car: well-built and extremely flexible both in and out of town
The Toyota Aygo is impressive in its simplicity: it offers "cheap and cheerful" motoring without throwing quality out of the window: it looks like it's built to last and everything feels well put together. Behind the wheel it's fairly nippy around town and even takes the open road in its stride - although noise levels can become intrusive as the speed increases. Safety and security are reasonable for such a small car: 4 airbags come as standard on most models, as do ABS and EBD - although equipment levels in general are fairly low. Having said that, so is the price... hence it's no real surprise. Discounts are small (in line with the price) - but you won't get anything from your local dealer, so why not go through a Toyota dealer who will offer you a saving... they'll even deliver it to your door!
