What our last 3 customers said about our service:

22/10/07 - Dear Patrick

I have used this scheme twice and saved myself over £3500.

First time to buy a Hyundai Santa Fe and more recently to buy my mother in law a Volkswagon Polo.

I can't fault the scheme, as it removes the uncomfortable haggle on the forecourt which so often disappoints and gets the dealers competing between themselves. This often reveals the true margins available in the car and can be a major surprise, especially at the end of the quarter when dealers are trying to meet quotas.

Simple system, you enter your car details and Autoebid tell you what you are going to save. The deal is that if you make the price they say, you pay them a fee, if you don't you don't pay a penny.
The auction occurs over a period of your choosing and bids will come in on your computer, more towards the end than at the beginning.
When the auction finishes, you get an outline of the dealer without actually being given the name and location.
If you advise Autoebid you accept the bid, almost immediately the dealer will then contact you for a deposit, normally £500, and arrange delivery. In both my purchases, the dealers were main agents and as per their agreement with Autoebid, delivered the car on the agreed date free of delivery charge.

Very satisfied and will be using them again.

Thanks again

John Maude

1/10/07 - Dear autoebid,

Ventured onto your service with some trepidation, but am really pleased to say we had an extremely positive experience. Bought a Daihatsu Materia, we did receive a bid of £10125. This we accepted, against the next best internet deal of £10880, and have just taken delivery.
The saving was most welcome !

Many thanks
Jeff & Tracy Davis

17/9/07 - Autoebid team,

Your company is definitely the way forward when buying a new car. The price difference I achieved in my auction was tremendous and you are worth every penny of your fee. Not only was the price worth the exercise, but also, your auction facility gave me access to cars that I could not buy locally because the model is so new - my local dealer had no stock availability! I can see every reason for others to use you and it comes as no surprise that you won a DTI award. Please do you me (and my name) as a reference for others if you wish.

Best regards

Dave Snelson
