We have removed several car dealers from our system that our clients have had issues with over the last 6 years. Several of those suppliers advertise their business online, therefore if you prefer a smooth purchase and wish to avoid those suppliers simply place an order with us.

Most of the negative experiences were as a result of less than transparent information from sellers (e.g not clearly stating vehicles were pre-registered). I was very happy with the discount on this car and the cost of AutoeBid service, though not cheap, may be off set against the time involved in contacting many individual dealers. I believe the procedure using AutoeBid could be made clearer (this may have already been done - haven't looked since buying the car 07). I would use again. Product : Car has had numerous problems with window and roof motors/sensors. Warning lights illuminating without reason. Engine management computer glitches. All rectified by Audi Maidstone in exemplary manner, but more problems than I would expect from any new vehicle, regardless of manufacturer and cost. |

The only disapiontments are the alloy wheels are easily curbed and the Ford badges have started to deteriorate arround the edges. |

As part of the autoebid process I saved a further £ 1500 - £ 2000 versus the best price obtained from personal negotiation. The car was supplied by a broker (rather than directly from a Mazda dealer) and the car had to be registered in the brokers name for 6 months. I was given a choice ast to whether to go with this arrangement or not early in the buying process - but it saved more money. The process of getting the logbook went without issues and 6 months later it arrived in the post. Very happy with the car. Yes I would use AutoeBid again - but I would do some due diligence to understand what is different with the 2009 process versus that which I used before. |

A few minor points - the styling could be a bit more exciting and a trip computer would have been nice. The radio/CD controls are a bit small but other than that the car is nippy and roomier than other cars at the same price. It is comfortable and the air con works a treat. No problems with the car - it is very reliable. |

As part of the autoebid process I saved a further £ 1500 - £ 2000 versus the best price obtained from personal negotiation. The car was supplied by a broker (rather than directly from a Mazda dealer) and the car had to be registered in the brokers name for 6 months. I was given a choice ast to whether to go with this arrangement or not early in the buying process - but it saved more money. The process of getting the logbook went without issues and 6 months later it arrived in the post. Very happy with the car. Yes I would use AutoeBid again - but I would do some due diligence to understand what is different with the 2009 process versus that which I used before. |

The radio/CD controls are a bit small but other than that the car is nippy and roomier than other cars at the same price. It is comfortable and the air con works a treat. No problems with the car - it is very reliable. |

Autoebid was suggested to me by a work colleague, who purchased her car through you. I was feeling despondent as local MINI dealers refused to offer any discounts plus the car scrappage scheme. The whole process with Autoebid was smooth and easy. I made a saving of £857 on a mini cooper hatchback plus the car scrappage deal which gave me a total saving of £2857 (not to mention a further saving of the temporary 2½% reduction in VAT). First time to buy a Hyundai Santa Fe and more recently to buy my mother in law a Volkswagon Polo. I can't fault the scheme, as it removes the uncomfortable haggle on the forecourt which so often disappoints and gets the dealers competing between themselves. This often reveals the true margins available in the car and can be a major surprise, especially at the end of the quarter when dealers are trying to meet quotas. Simple system, really. You just enter your car details and Autoebid tells you what you are going to save. The deal is that if you make the price they say, you pay them a fee, if you don't, you don't pay a penny. The auction occurs over a period of your choosing and bids will come in on your computer, more towards the end than at the beginning. When the auction finishes, you get an outline of the dealer without actually being given the name and location. If you advise Autoebid you accept the bid, almost immediately the dealer will contact you for a deposit, normally £500, and arrange delivery. In both my purchases, the dealers were main agents and as per their agreement with Autoebid, delivered the car on the agreed date free of delivery charge. It has been very satisfying. I will be using the service again.
