New ASTON MARTIN RAPIDE Review:
Aston Martin, renowned for creating luxurious supercars, is now exploring a more practical avenue in the form of the New Aston Martin Rapide. The New Aston Martin Rapid, Aston’s first model to be build overseas, at the Magna plant in Graz, Austria, has been dubbed a four-door sports car, despite being some 5 meters in length and 2 tonnes in weight. To achieve this sports car status Aston Martin has essentially taken a DB9 chassis and lengthened it in the wheelbase. The mechanical elements found in the new Aston Martin Rapide are common to other Astons: the 'VH' aluminum chassis is simultaneously strong yet light, and the reliable 5.9 litre V12 engine produces 469bhp and drives through the 'Touchtronic 2' 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The interior of the New Aston Martin Rapide incorporates all the finer details and styling you would come to expect from an Aston. The surfaces are smooth in detail, the leather is rich and the bespoke magnetised aluminum grab handles all add to the sense of occasion the interior of the New Aston Martin Rapide has to offer. Space in the back is somewhat limited, with the two individual bucket seats separated by a high-set spar which contains the heating and ventilation controls.
