The Berlingo makes no bones about the fact that it is derived straight from the Peugeot/Citroen vans heritage - instead it builds on the practicality offered from those roots and generates a no-nonsense but quirky image. It means that it doesn't have the most advanced performance or handling capabilites, but is effective at doing all that is asked of it with no fuss. It couldn't be much more practical if it tried - and the 1.6 HDi diesel engine makes it easy and responsive to drive with plenty of power and superb fuel economy. Overall it may not be the coolest car but it's quirky, cheap to run and you can get fantastic discounts through AutoeBid.
