New CITROEN C4 Review:

The Citroen C4 is up against some tough opposition from the likes of the Ford focus and even the mighty VW Golf, so it's got its work cut out to make the grade in the highly competitive family car market. However Citroen have moved away from the traditional 'big discount' mould with the C4 and have instead tried to inject some class into it, with an improved interior and sharper ride. Everything looks and feels good on the inside and the suspension is quite firm, which makes it less comfortable on bumpy roads but far better to drive, even though the steering is too light. The C4 is remarkably refined, however, and does feel much better built than previous Citroens with lots of equipment as standard - and residuals should therefore be much better. Dealers do not have the same sort of discounts available as for much of the rest of the range - but AutoeBid can always knock them down in the reverse auction, so expect to make a good saving when new.
