New FORD FOCUS C-MAX Review:

What happens when you stretch Ford's best-selling Focus? You get the Focus C-Max, of course! We don't exactly know why they called it that, but apparently it's something to do with maximum comfort, confidence and control... anyway, the good news is that it's lost nothing of the fine attributes of its smaller sibling and actually builds on the practicality by offering more space. However it misses a trick on its midi-MPV rivals by only providing a five seater option: the Zafira, Touran and Renaults all allow for seven. But if that's not an issue for you, make sure you take a C-Max out for a drive - preferably the punchy 2.0 TDCi - and you'll find it very refined, smooth and surprisingly nimble. The diesel engines pull strongly and are well hushed at speed, whilst the chassis allows for a rewarding and spirited drive. Equipment levels are good and the discounts with AutoeBid are excellent - put an order in the auction and buy from the lowest bidder!
