Advantages: Practical and well-built vehicle, spacious.

Disadvantages: Slightly lesser space in rear passenger seat

Summary: The new Nissan X-Trail happens to be a very popular model within Nissan’s range. It’s an easy to sell off-roader if sensibly priced and well looked after and great to have when you own one – whether new or second-hand.

New NISSAN X-TRAIL Review:

When it comes to deciding whether it’s an offloader or a family car, one would have to say that the new Nissan X-Trail is more of the latter.

It is a smooth-drive with refined diesel engines and a practical interior, hallmarks of what you’d seek in a family saloon for example.

However, it also fits the bill if you're looking to tow or live off the beaten track and need four-wheel drive capability.

In addition, it comes with a strong reputation for reliability, which makes the new Nissan X-Trail that much more desirable.

Indeed, the new Nissan X-Trail copes well in different conditions.

It has good steering, clear visibility, and a hillstart assistance feature (the car keeps the brake on until you press the accelerator), making it easy to drive around town.

However, it is as good for off-city roads.

Thanks the ‘All-Mode 4x4’ system, the driver doesn’t need to worry about low-ratio gearboxes like other off-roaders.

The new Nissan X-Trail also has a ‘Panoramic Sunroof’ running across the length of its roof giving the interior a very bright and an airy feel when open in summer.

The new Nissan X-Trail allows an excellent position for the driver to sit in and view the road ahead. It is in all sense a fairly safe and reliable car.
