It may not look the prettiest, but very rarely will you find a 4x4 like the Subaru Forester that is practical, versatile, reliable - and can hit 60 mph in less than 6 seconds! The turbocharged 2.5 litre engine is a gem and combines well with the chassis to give a well-balanced drive, although the 2.0-litre unit requires hard work to deliver the pace. Equipment levels are good and everything looks like it will last forever, plus there are good discounts using AutoeBid's reverse auction.
