New TOYOTA COROLLA VERSO Review:

The Corolla Verso is branded as a stylish way to drive an MPV for people who can't quite bear the thought of driving around in a Vauxhall Zafira. It's not that there's anything wrong with a Zafira (we think it's excellent) but Toyota are hoping to target buyers who think of themselves as too cool to turn up in a people carrier. And that means the main criteria is that the Corolla Verso looks good - which it certainly does - and that it boasts enough equipment to make the other mums and dads just slightly envious: the ICE DVD entertainment system with headrest-mounted screens which is standard on T Spirit models should do the trick. Whilst that should keep the kids quiet, it won't help with the engines which all drone away very audibly both at motorway speeds and in the town - but the driver should be kept happy with responsive handling and good performance from the 2.2 litre diesel engines. Prices in the reverse auction are excellent, with particularly big discounts available on pre-registered cars.
