Advantages: Cheap to buy and run; spacious

Disadvantages: 1.0 litre engine is slow; unrefined

Summary: The Agila is ideal for short trips to the supermarket, although doesn't have enough refinement for motorway trips

New VAUXHALL AGILA Review:

The Vauxhall Agila is based upon Suzuki's Wagon R+, with different engines and modified styling. However it's still never going to set the world alight - and whilst it represents good value for use as a city car, it doesn't have the necessary refinement for longer journeys. Equipment levels are fairly limited and the handling is uninvolved, but that shouldn't matter to the Agila's target audience. We would recommend the Ford Fiesta as a better alternative - but if you need 5 doors in a tight price range, the Agila will be more than adequate.
