WHAT IS A REVERSE AUCTION?
A reverse auction is the perfect way for businesses to lower purchasing costs, simplify the purchase process and increase profitability when looking to procure virtually any product or service.
WHAT CAN I SPECIFY AS PART OF MY REQUIREMENT?

Buyers can name all of their conditions of purchase when placing their requirement into auction: this will naturally cover the basics such as the product, quantity, size, colour etc – but can also include any special features or specifications required.

HOW LONG DOES BIDDING TAKE?

Procurement can be a lengthy process when using traditional methods: businesses will send out a request for quotation or request for information to potential suppliers – and often have to wait weeks or even months before receiving a reply.  With an online reverse auction, the buyer can specify when they need their auction to close – and this can be a matter of days or weeks depending on individual requirements.  At the end of the auction, the buyer has all the information they need to decide which bid to accept.

DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANY NEW SOFTWARE?

No – AutoeBid’s reverse auction service is purely web-based, so buyers and suppliers simply need to register to create an account.  The whole process is very easy to use, so no specific training is required – and the AutoeBid team can always help in answering any questions.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?

Our charges depend on the complexity of the project and will vary between £100 + VAT and 1% + VAT of the total purchase value.
