Sales have continued to rise into 2016 as well, with sales in January up 6.3% year-on-year, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.

Its engine will be paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, with GT, Sport and Sport+ driving models allowing drivers to transform the car's thinking with a simple switch. High quality technology includes a Bang and Olufsen stereo, 360-degree camera and auto park assist alongside many more in what Aston Martin owners describe the most customisable model they've ever made.

The Volvo V90 will be powered by the SPA platform's range of Drive-E turbocharged four-cylinder engines, and just like the S90 it will feature a T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid model. UK buyers will be able to choose from two trim levels, Momentum and Inscription, with standard kit including leather seats, sat-nav and a 9-inch touchscreen display.
