2016 Geneva Motor Show preview

The annual Geneva Motor Show takes place this week and automotive fans can expect a to see the launch of supercars, sport cars and luxury motors.
Big names including Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin will be debuting their latest models at the 86th GMS.
This year's show, which takes place from 3rd - 13th March, is set to be one of the biggest in most recent years, following the boom in European car sales with 14.2 million sold last year, 9.2% higher than in 2014.
Sales have continued to rise into 2016 as well, with sales in January up 6.3% year-on-year, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
All the household name brands will be in attendance during the event, but what key cars will be the highlight of the Show? Here we go through five of the main attractions to look out for at the Geneva Motor Show 2016.
The DB11 has been labelled as Aston Martin's most powerful, most efficient and most dynamically gifted ahead of its launch in Geneva. Its engine will be paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, with GT, Sport and Sport+ driving models allowing drivers to transform the car's thinking with a simple switch. High quality technology includes a Bang and Olufsen stereo, 360-degree camera and auto park assist alongside many more in what Aston Martin owners describe the most customisable model they've ever made.
The Audi Q2 is the fourth and latest model to join the 'Q' group, with influences coming from its fellow models, most noticeably with the cabin design similar to the current A3 and the latest multimedia technology from the new A4. The engine range will have the option of the latest sevens-speed S-Tronic gearbox with a decoupling function, and the Q2 will also come with a variable steering ratio and five driving modes including off-road mode.
Maserati Levante
Arriving in the UK in December, the Maserati Levante will be officially launched at Geneva and is set to go head-to-head in the premium SUV race with the Jaguar F Pace. All Levante models will include an 8-speed automatic gearbox, electronically controlled damping with air spring and the lowest centre of gravity in its class, according to Maserati. Engines include a pair of twin-turbo V6s' that are capable of managing 0-62 mph in six seconds.
Influenced by the Skoda Yeti, the Skoda Vision S is the Czech' brand's new mid-size SUV which is due out later in 2016. It can travel up to 31 miles on electric power alone, with a combined range of 621 miles and can apparently reach 62 mph in 7.4 seconds. The new model is expected to take the 'Kodiaq' name for production, and it will be powered by four-cylinder engines that are already fitted with the new Skoda Superb, with a 1.6-litre turbo-diesel forming the base engine.
With the V90, Volvo have an all-new model in the shape of an estate that will sit alongside the S90 saloon and XC90 SUV. Similarities with those models are shared with the V90, as it features the distinctive 'Thor's Hammer' LED headlamp design first seen on the XC90. The Volvo V90 will be powered by the SPA platform's range of Drive-E turbocharged four-cylinder engines, and just like the S90 it will feature a T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid model. UK buyers will be able to choose from two trim levels, Momentum and Inscription, with standard kit including leather seats, sat-nav and a 9-inch touchscreen display.
