It’s now grown beyond our wildest dreams, but can black Friday really get you a better deal on a car?
First introduced in the UK a few short years ago, Black Friday made it to the high street last year and will continue to grow. It started in America, where it refers to the deals on the day after Thanksgiving.
Now it’s made it across the pond, and is growing every year. This year it’s on 25 November.
Black Friday Car Deals
We all expect great deals from the likes of Amazon, Argos, Tesco - and it's true that last year, they had some great deals on car accessories, like sat-navs. But with something as high value as a car, are there Black Friday savings to be made?
Well, if America is anything to go by, we don’t have long to wait. Last year, Forbes reported Chevrolet, GMC and Buick cutting up to 20% off the retail price of selected in-stock models. Ford also bettered one of their normal deals. Other incentives included cashback deals at some Ford and Hyundai dealerships. Also, (more expectedly) many dealers offered better rates on lease vehicles and 0% finance deals with extended payback terms.
