Windsor Castle has been confirmed as the host venue for the 2016 Concours of Elegance with gracious permission of Her Majesty the Queen.

The announcement comes following the recent success of this year's automotive event, which will return to the land that homed its debut in 2012 as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

A Concours of 60 cars will gather from Friday 2 September through to Sunday 4 September, with the most exceptional cars from all over the world taking part in the event which will also help celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday in the quadrangle of Windsor Castle.

The classic car show will be marking it's fifth year of automotive gatherings in some of the world's most iconic locations, that have included St James' Palace, Hampton Court Palace, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

In it's first five years the Concours of Elegance has already raised over £600,000 for charity.
