Surprisingly spacious with outstanding multimedia interface technology. Disadvantages:
On open roads the Audi’s classic understeer can become very obvious. Summary:
Best in its class for fuel economy, the Audi A1 is almost like a shrunken version of the A4 with its reassuringly heavy doors, supreme building quality and luxury comfort. (3) AutoeBid customer AUDI A1 Reviews:02-November-2012 New AUDI A1 Deals(1.4 TFSI S Line 5d)“

Very satisfied with the A1 Sportback. The diesel engine is very economical and the car has typical high Audi levels of fit, finish and refinement.”27-November-2011 New AUDI A1 Deals(1.6 TDI SE 3d)“
solid car, easy to drive and very pleased with it overall”New AUDI A1 Review:
Looking more like a sturdy Coupe than a Hatch in profile, the Audi A1 has alloy wheels, air conditioning and a remote locking system all standard.
With its optional two tone roof panels, the A1 is exclusively available as a front-wheel drive three door hatchback, and is said to be based upon Volkswagen’s fifth generation Polo; the current ‘car of the year.’
For a car less than four metres long, the Audi A1 does well for ultimate style and luxury. Including its 270-litre boot, which when the back seats are folded down, can hold a capacity of up to 920-litres.
When Audi says this car is a four seater for four real sized adults, they mean it. They only downside is that tall passengers may find their hair slightly static when sitting in the backseats due to the sloping roof.
The A1 will be available to order with one diesel and two petrol four cylinder engines. However the petrol is recommended as you can get an S tronic 7-speed twin-clutch box which not only speeds up the acceleration but also massively improves the mpg.
If gizmos and gadgets are your thing of thing, the Audi comes with a manually deployable 6.5 inch screen which emerges from the dashboard. As well as this, the A1 can be ordered with LED running and rear lights, a 14-speaker Bose sound system and a 60 gigabyte infotainment system, toys like these are rarely seen on a car of this size.
Apparently Audi claim that the centre console is modelled around a ships stern and the dash modelled on aircraft wings, but in reality it is not that glitzy. The design and steering wheel make you feel like you could be sat inside an Audi A4 or A6, which we are sure you will agree, is no bad thing.
