Isuzu is a manufacturer or vehicles and diesel engines. Their engines can be found in brands such as Ford, Nissan and Renault. They were founded in 1934, and are still operational in 2016. Their D-Max pick-up truck is sold in the UK, available in a variety of options.
Inspired by Isuzu's BCCC Rally vehicle, the D-max Fury adds a layer of attitude to the company's range of affordable four wheel drive pick-ups. Based on the Eiger trim, but with £2,000 worth of additional kit, the D-Max Fury costs around £20,0000 - just £500 more than the Eiger.
If you'd like an Isuzu D-Max pick-up, then the chances are that you'd like a very well-equipped and stylish one. A model in fact, like this Blade version, now improved with a smarter interior and extra equipment. As before, it comes with a choice of six-speed manual or five-speed auto transmission and either a roller top cover or a full leisure canopy. Plus you get eighteen-inch alloy wheels, side steps, tinted windows, heated leather seats, a DAB stereo and a touch screen nav system. You get a very plush pick-up indeed then, yet one that, priced from under £26,000, isn't too much of an indulgence.
The Isuzu D-Max offers superior ride quality, a more efficient engine and a much slicker range of products than the Rodeo it has replaced. Is it good enough to challenge the best pick ups in its class? Drive a variant like this 4x4 DoubleCab Utah model and you wouldn't count against it.
