The all-new Jaguar F-PACE is the British brand's first SUV designed and engineered to offer agility, responsiveness and refinement, together with everyday versatility.

It will be available with four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive, and beholds Jaguar F-TYPE-inspired sporty features such as rear haunches, fender vents and distinctive tail light graphics.

The engine range also includes the F-TYPE's performance powered 380PS 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol unit, allowing the F-PACE to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.5 seconds before reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.

The F-Pace is the first aluminium-intensive model in the class and first among rivals for foot boot volume, cabin width, rear kneeroom and ease of rear access. The sporty SUV will have 650 litres of boot space, and still provide enough comfort for five adults.

Drivers will be able to experience the 'Sports Command' driving position which provides an authoritative, confidence-giving view out but retains a sports car feel.

Safety standards are high with the new F-PACE, because it provides exceptional levels of occupant and pedestrian protection. A suite of advanced driver assistance systems include the state-of-the-art stereo camera at the heart of the Autonomous Emergency Braking systems, which features another Jaguar first, pedestrian detection function.

The camera also enables Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, an Intelligent Speed Limiter, and Driver Condition Monitor systems.

A huge 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, called InControl Touch pro, will sit at the centre of the dash, allowing drivers to control the sat-nav and music.

Commute Mode on the infotainment system learn your daily drive so that it can offer alternative routes to avoid congestion using historical and real-time traffic information. Approach Mode adds a 360° interactive view of your destination alongside the map display when you're some 200m distant - it can even show you where the nearest available car parking spaces are and then lead you to them.
