Advantages: Competitive price, good level of kit and wealth of interior space.

Disadvantages: Poor quality ride which is jerky at lower speeds, gutless petrol engine.

Summary: The New Kia Venga is a supermini-MPV that offers plenty of room for a reasonable price, but overall compromises too much on quality and driving ability.

New KIA VENGA Review:
The New Kia Venga is a four-meter long supermini, offering a generous amount of head and leg room despite appearing quite small from the outside. If required the rear seats can slide back and forward to create even more space in the foot well or boot. Although interior space is abundant storage space is lacking and the boot, though spacious enough at 440 litres with the seats up, is a little disappointing with its low quality floor and build quality. The floor is unsecured, and can be folded or removed revealing a segmented storage compartment that sits underneath. Although practical issues arise when the New Kia Venga goes over any bumps, which sends the unsecured floor bouncing up and down.

Another issue arises from the awkward relationship between the clutch and the accelerator. The 1.4-litre petrol requires you to rev up to an unexpectedly high level to get underway, and pulling away from standstill smoothly is nigh-on impossible. The ride to does not live up to what you would expect from a Kia, being rather uncomfortable and jerky over bumps in the road. Interior quality is also low and rather cheap looking.

The attractive price tag and enviable seven year, 100,000 mile warranty are redeeming qualities however. The New Kia Venga offers more space for less money than its rivals the Renault Grand Modus and the Nissan Note, and offers a high level of specification – the mid-range 2 offering electric mirrors and windows, 16-inch alloys and a stereo with iPod and Aux inputs. Although these positives do go some way to redeeming The New Kia Venga’s failings it does not match the standards set by other models in Kia’s impressive new range.

How do we get our New KIA VENGA deals?

Cheap new KIA VENGA cars for sale through AutoeBid

Reasons for being much cheaper than your local dealer:

  • We don't charge KIA VENGA suppliers a fee to sell through our service. Meaning they incur no direct costs in selling a vehicle through AutoeBid. As such, the standard costs of advertising, marketing and administrating the sale are taken out of the equation.
  • All KIA VENGA orders are live on our website so that suppliers can compete between one another to win your business by giving you the best quote. Their fierce competition for your business forces their price down, giving you the ultimate advantage of getting your price at your rates.
  • Suppliers are also able to sell vehicles nationally through AutoeBid, which potentially allows them to sell large numbers of cars through our website. As a mark of their appreciation, they are able to provide for much larger discounts if they are able to sell large volumes of vehicles.
  • Similarly through our Group Buying Scheme, we group together buyers in order to maximise our buying power.
  • Our extensive supply base allows us to approach the most competitive suppliers in the market on behalf of our buyers. We spend a lot of our time researching new suppliers and confirming their trading record and their ability to deliver.
  • By continuously keeping in contact with our extensive potential supplier base, and maintaining a database of suppliers who register with us, we regularly update our Reserve Prices. Click here to view more information on the different types of supplier who you can buy from through AutoeBid.
