There are now two trim levels, 'Excite' and 'Exclusive'. Like all MG models, this one's certainly affordable.

The entry-level 'Excite' version is available on the road from around £16,000 - way more affordable than most B-segment SUVs. Plus, as you'd expect, there's also a full range of competitive finance offers.

There's plenty of equipment too, including cruise control, air conditioning and Auto headlights. Inside, a 10.1-inch touch sensitive centre-dash infotainment screen is supported by DAB radio, 'Apple CarPlay'/'Android Auto' smartphone-mirroring and Bluetooth.

Other standard features include a trip computer, a leather stitched steering wheel, speed sensing locking and a four-way adjustable passenger front seat. The top 'Exclusive' model costing just over £18,000 gets satellite navigation, a 360-degree camera and a rear view camera, plus an uprated 3D 6-speaker sound system.

At 'Exclusive' level, there's also a digital driver in information display for the instrument binnacle, heated front seats, rain sensing wipers, heated front seats and leather style upholstery with contrast stitching.

As you'd expect, there's a wide range of (mostly extra cost) colours, including 'Black Pearl', 'Battersea Blue', 'Cosmic Silver' and 'Spiced Orange'. There's also a specially-developed tri-coat 'Dynamic Red' paint option..
