New Mercedes Deals

Following it's first appearance at last year's Shanghai Motor Show, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has been unveiled at the New York Motor Show.

The GLC Coupe arrives later this year with orders open from June, and is set to rival the BMW X4 and others in the mid-size SUV/coupe crossover.

The new Mercedes model will be powered by the same range of 2.1-litre diesels used in the Mercedes C-Class saloon, of which AutoeBid recently saved a customer £10,192.93 (24%) thanks to our new car discounts.

Buying a car online has never been so popular, with nearly twice as many motorists now confident in buying a car through car dealer websites compared to three years ago.

Research conducted by Buy A Car revealed that consumers are now happy to buy a new car online, with 31.3% stating they would shop online for a new vehicle without seeing it first.

The new Coupe will feature a curvy roofline, large front grille, intricate light signature, jutting wheel arches and heavily creased panels.

Its interior has a number of similarities when compared to the GLC SUV, with the center console dominated by air vents. There is a tablet-sized infotainment screen sitting above on top of the dashboard, a feature dominating modern cars of which AutoeBid can secure great new car discounts and cheap deals on.

Surprisingly the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe comes with a pleasant amount of space in the back seats, although the roofline may mean a reduction in rear-seat headroom.

If the diesel engine isn't for you then you will have to wait to enjoy the entry point to the range which will be a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol capable of doing 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds.

There will also be an efficient plug-in hybrid version called the GLC 350e which will arrive at a later date, with reports suggesting that it will be capable of a combined 316bhp and reaching 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds.

Equipment coming as standard with the GLC coupe include 18-inch alloy wheels, a reversing camera, KEY-LESS go which allows keys to be detecting while in your pocket in order to unlock and start the vehicle, and ARTICO man-made leather upholstery. Models will also be fitted with powered tailgate, Audio 20 CD multimedia system and bluetooth connectivity.

Prices are expected to be between £37,000 and 40,000 for the entry level GLC Coupe, but keep an eye out on AutoeBid for potential new discounted car deals.
